Aligning Ourselves to Good Vibrations

I talk to myself every day & journal every day. I know, it sounds kinda weird, but it helps! Below is the kind of thing I tell myself in meditation at sunrise and what I write down in repetition. These words really do bring me clarity and comfort, and help me see the joy in my life more apparently than ever before. Feel free to use & share these mantras, which are inspired by and adapted from the principles outlined in the Abraham-Hicks philosophies and the Law of Attraction.

Life is a gift, and the universe is filled with astounding, magical gifts that are available to me, all the time.
I open my heart and mind to receiving them. I surrender to the goodness that's out there, just waiting for me to accept it in my life.

Good things are happening. Life takes care of me. My energy is aligning to the powerful vibrations of joy, love, compassion, kindness, and abundance.

I open my heart and mind to the power of those energies. I internalize and feel the vibrations of each of those emotions. I notice them as they appear in my life, bit by bit, hour by hour, appreciating them fully for the magical gifts they are, and showing gratitude for the chance to experience every one. There is so much to be grateful for; so much to look forward to.

I recognize the magic of the universe each and every day, and in doing so, begin to align myself with the wondrous opportunities, endless joy, expanding love and boundless abundance that is swirling about me all the time.

I surrender to the purpose of my divine path, so that I may fill my heart with joy.

This Has Nothing to do with Sustainability & Everything to do with Justice

I wrote this essay in response to the Supreme Court confirmation hearings of and investigation into Judge Brett Kavanaugh for alleged sex assault against one (or two, or three, or a dozen?) of our sisters.

Like many of you, I was being re-triggered & re-traumatized hearing and seeing news of the events, everywhere I turned, no matter how much I avoided news or social media.

Because sex assault never goes away, I honor my story, my pain, and vow never to be silent again. Read the post here.

Prayer for Forgiveness

Forgive us our sins, dear, incredible Earth.

For our parents didn't know that plastics would make you so sick.

Our grandparents didn't realize that lead would poison your water and your dirt.

Our great-grandparents didn't see that burning coal could destroy your air.

We still have much to learn so that we may take take better care of you.
